A feature request we get a lot is the ability to edit a student’s payment. We’re going to release this update tonight. It’s just the first in a series of payments updates. The goal is to make Studentbase as full-featured as possible when it comes to billing.

Anyway, here are two screenshots of the upcoming payments editing feature. In this first screenshot, you’ll see a small “Edit” link next to the trash can icon.

All you do is click that link and it takes you to the editing screen for that individual payment.  Like so:

Then all you have to do is change any of the amounts you initially entered, such as the amount, the payment date, the notes and the paid status.  Click “Update Payment” and you’re done.
